Woodland Management
A well managed woodland of any size is normally healthier and more attractive than one left to become overgrown and uncared for. It is becoming increasingly popular for private individuals to purchase woodlands and there are many grants available to help return woodlands back in to production.
Woodland management promotes healthy tree growth and provides light to the woodland floor, which helps the native species to flourish. It involves planting with suitable species as well as eradicating the non native species such as Laurel and Rhododendron that can smother the woodland.
We can help provide protection from deer, rabbits and voles by supplying mulching mats, stakes and guards.
